Modeler's Notes:

Basically the model is out of box.  The decals were from twobobs.com. They are the 2005 TMOTA set. I used Testors Gunship Grey for the fuselage, and Alclad Titanium for the engines. As for how long it took me to complete, I would have to guess around 150 hours. A good amount of the overall time was spent detail painting the cockpit's interior. Wanted to make sure everything looked OK.

In the years since Operation Desert Storm, the F-15E has replaced the F-111 Aardvark as the primary fighter-bomber in the U.S. Air Force. Using its LANTIRN (Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting, Infrared for Night) pods and other sophisticated avionics systems, it has the capability to deliver all types of conventional ordnance as well as the most sophisticated "smart" weapons in the inventory.
