Q:
I am a 1st Time Site Visitor, and after only a few minutes of browsing I had 12
page windows open.
Why do you have your d___ links to other pages open in new windows? (Annoyed and Anonymous ! !)
A: As one of the webmasters
for Greenfield News and Hobby I conform their web pages to our client's specifications. As with any business, the preferences of the client come first.
Most business owners have a vision as to how and what they want their web site
to look like, and although we offer suggestions to our clients, ultimately it's
the client that we have to satisfy.

Q:
Same Subject, Next Question - Rather a pitiful selection of
merchandise considering most other Internet hobby shops offer their
entire store inventory for purchase on-line! When are you going to
get out of the stone age and and offer web visitors a better and
bigger selection?
(J. Atkins - Knoxville, TN.)
A: Our store computerized inventory program
now has over 720 manufacturers with over 102,000 individual product item
entries. To make a similar inventory available over the Internet requires
an ISP that hosts the necessary program file extensions, has fast
server computers and the requisite database capability. At some point
in the future, we hope to expand our web site and it's capabilities
thus offering an expanded selection of products.

Q:
I live in Norway and want to bid on one of your Ebay auction items.
Will you ship overseas?
A:
We prefer to have all of our Ebay listings designated for sale and
shipment within the United States Only! We Do Not Exclude registered
overseas Ebay members from bidding on our listings. However, it has
been our experience that shipping and handling costs to foreign
countries can often exceed the item's selling price. If you are the
winning bidder on our auction item, we will endeavor to establish a
reasonable shipping method and cost to your location.

Q:
We've noticed that many of your web pages use different colors for
the foreground, background and text. Why is this?
(B. Anderson - Muskego, WI.)

our new Internet look. Many new features have recently been added that offer
site visitors better service, and the ability to purchase store products
on-line. These changes will be an ongoing process
designed to provide you with a pleasant on-line shopping experience.

Question-9 = Additional Store services
Comments = Good information when you talk to the people, but the web site needs to

"picture worth thousand words!" We pretty much agree with Confucius,
and that's why wherever possible on our web site we us store department

The following question was posted to our email using our Customer Survey.
Question-2 =
Previous
Web Site Visitor
Question-12 = None of the Above
Comments = What's with all the stupid "cartoonish pictures" you use on your web pages, aren't you a retail merchant and Internet business?
A: Yes, we are a brick and mortar retail merchant that takes the Business of Servicing Customers, both in our store and on the Internet, Very
Seriously! But, we also look at life as another matter - With the serious nature of today's world, I feel that a little humor and levity can go a long way in lightening that
daily burden. If we can bring a chuckle or smile to someone each day, then our use of silly pictures are well worth the effort. Jay Gordon - Owner, Greenfield News and Hobby
